Linked below is a list of projects that the World Bank Group is financing or proposing to finance in Iraq as of April 28, 2016.
The projects are funded by either the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), the part of the World Bank Group that makes loans to the public sector in Middle Income Countries, or the International Finance Cooperation (IFC), the private arm of the World Bank Group.
IBRD is currently funding or co-funding 9 projects in Iraq, 6 of which are active projects (in the implementation phase), and 3 are proposed projects (in the preparation phase). IFC, likewise, is funding additional 9 projects, all of which are active (in the implementation phase).
