The ADB has selected four panelists from its Roster of Experts to carry out the Chashma Project Investigation
In early December, 2003, the ADB appointed four panelists to conduct an Inspection of the Chashma Project. The Panel is comprised of Anthony Ranjit Bevis Amerasinghe from Sri Lanka, Goran Eklof from Sweden, Neeraj Narayan Joshi from Nepal, and Lawrence Williams from the USA.
The ADB Board Inspection Committe will soon release draft Terms of Reference for the Panel to the Inspection Requesters, ADB’s management, and the Government of Pakistan for comments. Comments will be collected in mid January 2004, with a view to finalizing the Terms of Reference in consulation with the Panel by the end of January. For more information see:
