Alexia Latortue will serve at the new Deputy Assistant Secretary of International Development and Debt Policy.
Latortue was a former senior spokesperson on microfinance for the World Bank. For a period of time, she served as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP). She replaces Scott Morris.
