The Bank Information Center submitted comments and recommendations on the World Bank’s proposal for how it will mainstream citizen engagement across its operations.
The World Bank Group, as part of its 2013 corporate strategy, committed to streamlining how it engages with citizens throughout the development process and across its various operations. As part of this commitment, the Bank is developing a strategic framework that will guide the process of mainstreaming its various existing avenues of citizen engagement.
BIC’s recommendations to this process were submitted as part of an official consultation period which will conclude May 23, 2014.
